Bean Test

As advised by 1066, I planted 3 broad bean seeds in normal compost, and 3 in a 50/50 mix of compost and manure, to test the horse manure I'd been given on Freecycle. Thanks 1066, I'm very grateful for your advice - the difference is clear! All the manure will be going straight into my landfill bin.

The pots are marked 'control' and 'manure'.
